Kocal Properties was founded in 2003 with a simple conviction: commercial associations deserve the same level of professional governance and operational discipline as any well-run corporation.

While most firms split their attention across residential HOAs, apartments, and general property management, we've spent two decades mastering one niche. That singular focus lets us spot governance gaps, financial risks, and compliance issues long before they become problems.

We don't manage apartments. We don't manage single-family HOAs. We don't manage for-lease commercial buildings. All of our energy goes into one specialty — so our clients don't have to wonder whether their association is truly protected.

Brent founded Kocal Properties in 2003 to build the firm he wished existed when he first encountered the chaos of volunteer-run commercial associations. Twenty-two years later, that conviction is unchanged.

His career spans bootstrapped startups, successful exits, multi-state regional leadership roles, and private consulting. For more than two decades he has specialized in helping organizations install the systems and discipline needed to grow without chaos.

At Kocal, he sets the standard: every association we manage gets the same level of governance discipline, financial control, and decision protection — no exceptions, no corners cut.
